Counselling is a talking based therapy. During a counselling session you use time set aside by you and a counsellor to look at what has brought you to counselling.

Kathy Black Kathy works with children, young people and adults. She enjoys working with a wide variety of issues including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, pain management, grief and loss, body image issues, self-esteem and trauma (including complex trauma).
Kathy has experience in working in many different settings, such as schools, youth centres, and holistic clinics. She is a trained Relax Kids Coach and runs relaxation groups for children, young people and adults.
Currently she sees children for therapy sessions in secondary school and has worked with children in therapy from aged 11 to late teens.
Kathy holds an Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, has completed 6 years of psychotherapeutic training, and is a member of BACP.
Clive Mason: Clive is an experienced integrative counsellor who uses the person centred approach as his core model of work and offers a counselling service to people over the age of 17. He completed his counselling training (Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling) at the City of Bristol College. He gained valuable experience working for 2 agencies in Bristol, Low Cost Counselling and South West Veterans before moving into private practice in 2015. He is a strong believer in supporting the Armed Forces and has a great deal of experience of work with both Serving Member and Veterans along with their families, and has a thorough understanding of the complexities associated with service life.
